For the first time, Richmond Hill Soccer Club will be running a March Madness Academy exclusively for our Club's Rep players! The 5 day academy will take place inside the Aurora Sports Dome and will include daily on-field technical sessions led by Nationally Licensed coaches from our Club. The Academy's coaching staff will be made up of Bob Munro, Andy King, Nadine Powell and Ryan Gorewicz, along with some special guest coaches throughout the week.

The academy will run off a curriculum designed by our Staff Coaches which will touch on a number of technical aspects, including ball control, passing and receiving, 1 v 1 attacking and defending, and small sided games. Some of the other exciting features of this academy include: soccer specific Yoga class, skills testing, Hip Hop dance class, in class game analysis for older players, competitions, prizes and an exclusive camp shirt.

Bob has been coaching in soccer for over 35 years and has worked to develop hundreds of elite level players. Bob, who holds a National level coaching license, spent a portion of his career as the Head Coach of the Ontario provincial team, winning 4 National Championships. It was in this role where he got the chance to coach, develop, and mentor Dwayne De Rosario and Paul Stalteri, 2 of the most prolific players in the history of Canadian soccer. He followed this up with a short, but successful stint in Cuba working with the U16 National Team.
Bob served as the Technical Director & Head Coach of Richmond Hill Soccer Club for 19 years, overseeing coaching selection for all of our Club's programs and also serving on the coaching staff of an astonishing 9 Ontario Cup winning teams. Most recently, he has worked as a Head Coach in our OPDL program since the 2015 season.
Andy has been involved in coaching soccer for over 12 years, with roles in Canada, the USA, and England. He is currently the Head Coach of our Club's 2002 OPDL girls team and has previously served as a Staff Coach with RHSC where he worked with a number of our age groups, including the U8 to U12 boys and U15 girls.
Andy holds his CSA National 'B' coaching license and Coerver Youth Coaching Diploma. His impressive coaching knowledge, combined with his enthusiastic attitude and playing experience, enables Andy to provide a refreshing and valuable level of insight and guidance to our players.
Nadine has been involved in coaching soccer for roughly 10 years, previously coaching with both our 2000 girls and 2002 boys before serving as a coach in our OPDL program for the past three seasons. She also has experience playing the game at a high level, winning a Provincial Women's Championship as part of Manitoba's Women's program.
Nadine holds the prestigious honour of being the first female coach in our Club's history to hold a Canadian national coaching license after obtaining her CSA National 'B' license. She has also taken part in many coaching conferences and seminars, including the Ontario Soccer Association's Female Coaching Workshop and the York Region Soccer Association's Successfully Coaching the Female Player.
Ryan has been the Head Coach of our 2003 OPDL girls program since the start of the 2016 season. Prior to that, he was an assistant coach with our 2002 OPDL boys and also spent time as a head coach with our 2002 boys Rep program. Previously, Ryan has served as the Program Head Coach of our 1998 boys, as well as the 2003 girls program at the Markham Soccer Club. He also has experience working as a Mentor Coach in the York Region Soccer Association's District Program.
Ryan, who currently holds his CSA National 'B' coaching license, has attended numerous coaching conferences in both Canada and the United States, and has vast experience working to develop players ages 8 to 14.
