Nadine Powell Appointed RHSC High Performance Manager

February 13, 2017

Richmond Hill Soccer Club is thrilled to introduce Nadine Powell as our Club’s new High Performance Manager.

Nadine will now offer support, leadership and guidance to our Ontario Player Development League (OPDL) program.  She will be guiding the coaches regarding their responsibilities with respect to Ontario Soccer and the OPDL program to ensure that a consistent and high standard is maintained throughout the entire program. She will also manage and lead the implementation of the Pointstreak program for the Richmond Hill Soccer Club while working closely with the OSA, as well as RHSC OPDL coaches, players and parents.

Nadine has been with RHSC for many years and has over 10 years of overall coaching experience. She previously coached with both our 2000 girls and 2002 boys before serving as a coach in our OPDL program for the past three seasons. She also has experience playing the game at a high level, winning a Provincial Women's Championship as part of Manitoba's Women's program.

Nadine holds the prestigious honour of being the first female coach in our Club's history to hold a Canadian national coaching license after obtaining her CSA National 'B' license in 2015.

RHSC would like to thank Jamie Teixeira, who previously served in this role, for his contributions to our club and wish him all the best in his future endeavours.
