RHSC Players Enjoy Canadian Women’s National Team Match

On Sunday, June 11th, Richmond Hill Soccer Club players, coaches and parents headed to BMO Field to watch our Canadian National Women’s team take on Costa Rica. They were treated to a tremendous game with lots of offence, as our women would come away with a resounding 6-0 victory.

The game had special meaning for our Club as two former RHSC players featured in the match. Both Rebecca Quinn and Nichelle Prince, who spent time playing with Richmond Hill Soccer Club, took to the field in Toronto. The pair have represented the national team on a number of occasions, including the CONCACAF Women's Under-17 Championship, FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup, and the Pan American Games.

Our girls got a thrill after the match, as they were able to meet a number of the national team players, who came in to the stands to pose for photos and sign autographs. It was truly an inspirational and unforgettable experience for our girls!
