Homemade Hummus

Hummus is a great option for lunches and snacks, and is nutrient dense so it will be sure to pump up your diet. Hummus is delicious as a dip, or can be added to sandwiches and wraps. It is a good source of protein and fiber that will keep you full for longer, and the healthy fats in hummus help your body feel satiated and curbs food cravings. If all that isn’t enough, Hummus provides a number of vitamins and minerals that are essential for good health, especially folate and iron. Folate is a B vitamin that aids in the production of DNA while Iron is required for the body to make hemoglobin for the delivery of oxygen throughout the body.
