3 More Raiders Selected for Provincial Teams

Richmond Hill Soccer Club is proud to congratulate Ricky Ren, Logan Liu, and Kendall Kim on being named to the Provincial Xcel Teams in the U14 age group.

Ricky is a talented striker who currently plays a year up with our 2011 Boys OPDL team, who enjoyed an outstanding 2025 season. The group finished as Trillium finalists after narrowly falling short in the championship match, while remaining undefeated throughout league play. Ricky continued to show his quality throughout the Provincial screening process and earned his place among the province’s top players.

Logan, a strong goalkeeper, represents our 2012 Boys OPDL team, while Kendall, a creative midfielder, plays for the 2012 Girls OPDL squad. Although no scores/standings were kept at the U13 level, both players were key contributors for their teams throughout last season, consistently demonstrating strong work ethic, commitment, and development as they helped support the growth and competitiveness of their respective groups.

These three players now join Matthew He, Fiona Smith, and Victoria Wright as RHSC representatives on Provincial Teams this year. Having six players selected across multiple age groups is a tremendous achievement for both the athletes and the Club’s High Performance pathway.

The U14 Boys Provincial Teams, Ontario Red and Ontario Black, recently wrapped up a weekend showcase series featuring many of the top players in the province competing head-to-head in a high-performance environment designed to support continued development. The U14 Girls Provincial program also took part in a series of matches over the weekend as part of their ongoing programming.

We are extremely proud of all six Raiders selected to Provincial Teams this year and look forward to continuing to grow our High Performance environment in the years ahead.

All eight of RHSC’s OPDL teams kicked off their 2026 seasons two weekends ago, and we are excited to follow their progress throughout the year.
